Zero pollution is always our aim. Anthony Veder provides extensive training to all of our employees to promote environmental awareness. Our modern fleet is energy efficient, particularly our latest vessel, the Coral Methane that uses LNG for fuel. This vessel has already been recognised and been awarded the prestigious Green Star Award.
LPG and LNG, which make up most of our cargo, are considered greener fuels and our CO2 carrier, the Coral Carbonic, is fully designed to help reduce emissions and ensure that carbon dioxide emissions are handled in a responsible way.
As well as complying with all of the very latest international and national legislation, Anthony Veder also manages its waste, ballast water and residues. Our crews and employees ashore are made aware of their own role in helping to manage waste.
Anthony Veder also participates in the Rotterdam Climate Initiative. This is part of the international Clinton Climate Initiative, founded by former President of the United States, Bill Clinton.
The Climate Initiative aims to improve the climate for the benefit of people, the environment, and the economy and offers a platform for government, organisations, companies and citizens to work together towards a 50% reduction of CO2 emissions, while at the same time promoting the economy in the Rotterdam region.
