Coral Carbonic

The Coral Carbonic does transport liquefied gas but only a special kind: this is the first purpose-built CO2 -tanker worldwide. CO2 or Carbon Dioxide is currently transported in relative small quantities. The Coral Carbonic therefore has a capacity of 'only' 1250 cbm, with all cargo transported in one tank. The vessel can be described as FP/FR as the maximum pressure is 18 barg and minimum temperature is -40°C. As the trading area is the Baltic and NW-Europe she is ice strengthened ice class 1A. For the transport of CO2 some special features in the gas-handling plant are necessary.
