Prins Johan Willem Friso
The Prins Johan Willem Friso is Anthony Veder's first newly-built ethylene carrier, although it was already delivered in 1989. As a semi pressurised/ fully refrigerated ethylene carrier with a capacity of 4200 cbm, it is also possible to carry all LPG's, ammonia and VCM. The two stage cooling plants have a very high capacity to cool down a cargo of ethylene. This makes her especially suitable for short haul trips although long voyages are certainly possible. Cargoes are transported in two tanks, two grades are possible (one cooled). An inert gas generator ensures easy inerting and change of grade.
