Coral Obelia

The Coral Obelia, with her slightly larger sisters Coral Meandra and Coral Millepora, is a semi pressurised/ fully refrigerated gas carrier with a capacity of 3800 cbm. The cargo plant features state-of-the-art equipment to transport and cool all common cargoes such as LPG's, ammonia, VCM and various chemical gases. The ship has the possibility to carry two cargoes simultaneously, one of which can be cooled. Change of grade can be dealt with a high capacity nitrogen plant. The vessel is therefore particularly suitable for short-sea voyages, although the relatively high speed and low fuel consumption due to the well-designed hull form makes longer voyages certainly possible.
