LPG & Petrochemical gases
Anthony Veder operates a modern fleet of ethylene and semi pressurised/fully refrigerated vessels. The company offers worldwide service with a focus on North West Europe, but also has ethylene vessels trading East of Suez and LPG tankers in the Caribbean. The vessels are customer friendly with a high flexibility to change grades and good cooling capacity. Our ethylene carriers are fast coolers and therefore suitable for short voyages. We have new ice class 1A vessels in our fleet to be able to trade in the Baltic during winter.
More than 2/3 of our business is transporting petrochemical gases like propylene and ethylene, which is the basis for the plastic industry. We furthermore move butadiene to make synthetic rubber and VCM to make PVC and many other gases. For the remaining 1/3 of our capacity we move LPG (butane and propane).
We offer our customers contract of affreightments giving them the flexibility to transport different products, parcel sizes and load and discharge destinations. We can also offer time charter contracts. We are actively involved in the spot market as well.
We believe that our competitive advantages are the following:
- Maximum flexibility and reliability to customers by offering a large fleet in different sizes and types of gas tankers, including CO2 and LNG
- Creative solutions to charterers requirements either commercial or technical
- Cost efficient transportation due to modern vessels with high efficiency
- Long term relationships with the charterers in the mutual interest of both parties
- Close communication with the customer by making use of modern technology
- Anticipate on requirements and possible changes by being aware of the needs of the customer
