LPG
Anthony Veder has some 40 years experience in the transport of liquid petrochemical gases (LPG). We have built up the fleet over the years and we now operate a 15-strong modern fleet of ethylene, semi-pressurised and fully-refrigerated vessels, ranging between 3,000 cbm and 7,200 cbm.
The company offers a worldwide service with a focus on North West Europe but we also have ethylene vessels trading East of Suez and LPG tankers in the Caribbean. Our vessels are customer-friendly, have good cooling capacity and are highly flexible so they can easily change temperature grades. Anthony Veder's ethylene carriers are fast coolers and therefore, suitable for short voyages. We also have new ice class 1A vessels in our fleet to be able to trade in the Baltic during winter.
Petrochemical gases
More than two-thirds of our business is transporting petrochemical gases like propylene and ethylene, which is the basis for the plastics industry. We also move butadiene to make synthetic rubber and VCM to make PVC and many other gases. LPG (butane and propane) accounts for around a third of our business.
Anthony Veder prides itself on being able to offer customers a full-service, using a modern fleet. This enables us to offer efficient transport of LPG and petrochemicals, which in turn means, it is also cost-effective. Safety and quality are always our focus and we make sure our employees at sea and ashore, are kept updated on the latest regulations.
Flexibility is also key to our operation. We offer customers contract of affreightments giving them the flexibility to transport different products and parcel sizes to an array of load and discharge destinations. We can also offer time charter contracts and we are actively involved in the spot market as well.
Anthony Veder develops long-term relationships with charterers and customers. We offer creative commercial or technical solutions, flexibility and reliabilty.
